This Privacy Policy explains how AntHill Technologies Pvt Ltd ("AntHill", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal data when you visit theanthill.ai (the "Site") or engage with us as a prospective design partner or customer. We are committed to processing personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and other applicable law.

By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

AntHill Technologies Pvt Ltd is a company incorporated in India, with its principal place of business in Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, India. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we act as the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described below. You can contact us, including our Grievance Officer, using the details in Section 13 below.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need to operate the Site and evaluate design-partner interest:

• Contact details you provide. When you request access, apply to the design partner program, or otherwise contact us, we collect the name, work email address, company, role, and any information you choose to include.
• Usage and referral metadata. Alongside a submission we may record the page URL you submitted from, the referring URL, and marketing campaign parameters (for example UTM source, medium, and campaign) to understand how you found us.
• Technical data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information as part of delivering and securing the Site.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not submit it to us through the Site.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• To respond to your enquiries and communicate about the design partner program;
• To evaluate and manage prospective and existing partner or customer relationships;
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• To send you product and program updates where you have asked to hear from us; and
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you submit information to us, and, where applicable, for certain legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act (such as responding to a request you have made). You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 13 below; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers (Data Processors) who help us run the Site and our operations — for example our database and hosting providers (including Convex for lead storage and Cloudflare for hosting) — under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only on our instructions;
• Professional advisers, or authorities, where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect our rights; and
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation, subject to this policy.

6. Data residency

All personal data we process resides in India or, for our customers, in the country or region the customer selects. We configure our service providers so that personal data covered by this policy remains stored in India or the customer's selected location, and we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out above, to maintain our business relationship with you, and to comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and request a summary of its processing;
• Request correction, completion, or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request erasure of your personal data where it is no longer required;
• Withdraw consent for future processing; and
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
